Long stone shelf with candles, sage bundles, palo santo, and stoneware bowls in dramatic window light

A small candle, a quieter room, and an evening that finally slows down.

We pour our beeswax in small batches. Each one cures for three days before we light a wick to test it. The flame tells us if we got it right.

Bundles of white sage and palo santo, sourced from people we know.

The sage comes from a farm in Mendocino that has been replanting since the 90s. Palo santo from Peru, only from trees that have already fallen. Both get tied with raw linen string, by hand, in our studio.

Ritual kits we put together for the long evenings.

A candle, a sage bundle, a few sticks of palo santo, a small black bowl. Wrapped in unbleached cotton. The kit we send to friends when they move into a new place.
